Scoutie Girl Feature

Good Morning! A little while ago, I was approached by my good friend and colleague, Judit Wild, about doing an interview for her project called "Then and Now." This is a fun spotlight on artists and their evolutionary process. Of course I jumped at the chance, and the interview can be found today on Scoutie Girl right HERE! It was really fun for me to think back to my beginning, which was only two and a half years ago. It seems like time has flown by!

And here are some pictures of my garden and what I've been doing with it! To the left is a special sunflower called, "Infrared" and below are pie cherries! YUM!

Hmm...I'm not tweeting yet so I may sit this one out. It's a mighty tempting reason to start a Twitter account, though!

Glad you guys had some time out on the town. I'll have to pick your brain about that restaurant.

I thinks the interview turned out very well!
What is that, in the jar? Plum? Strawberry? Seems yummy...

At first I thought those looked like strawberries, but then I decided them might be cherries. I know that you have that cherry tree, it was just LOADED with cherries when I visited you many summers ago and it sounded like processing the cherries was practically a full time job. The fruit in the jar also looks like it could be cut up pieces of plums, but my plums are not ripe yet so I am guessing yours might not be either. That sunflower is beautiful! When did you plant the sunflower seeds? Mine are no where near that far along!
